Elmer A. Higgins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has devoted 14 years of experience in working with individuals, children, and families throughout the state of Florida. Elmer’s education began in 2008 with obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. In 2018, her Master of Social Work Degree was received with Barry University.
Elmer started her social work career with the Department of Children and Families, by working with at-risk children and families. Her passion for people moved her career to become a personal ministry for the hurting because she developed a desire to see people heal and reach their full God-given potential. After receiving her LCSW in 2022, Elmer began her journey as a licensed clinical therapist throughout the state of Florida. She educates and empower individuals towards emotional and traumatic healing, while promoting continued mental health and personal well-being. Additional experience includes – Behavioral Health Professional with the Palm Beach County School District, and she is currently a Medical Case Manager social worker with Bethesda Hospital.
