Dr. Tara McIntosh-Horne is a native of Wabasso, Florida. She received her secondary education from the University of Florida where she attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.

She continued her studies at the University of Florida College of Law where she attained her Juris Doctorate degree.

As a strong believer that one ought to study to show themselves approved unto God, she completed her studies at Evangelical Bible Seminary and was conferred a Doctor of Religious Education degree; and became an Ordained Minister in the Church of God. With a desire to minister to the “whole man,” she attained a Master of Science Degree in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling from Walden University.

Dr. McIntosh-Horne is a woman of God, anointed to teach and preach the gospel and has been called upon on many occasions to minister the word of God as Conference Speaker, Bible Study Teacher, and Evangelist. Throughout her ministry she has proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ in various countries such as South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland and the United States, where her mission is to win the lost at any cost. She has served as an Associate Minister and Director of International Ministry and Missions at Victory Place International Worship Center which afforded her the opportunity to travel to various countries to provide humanitarian and spiritual assistance to those in need.

Fueled by her own personal experience as a teen mom, she founded Laila’s Place of Hope, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to teen mothers in the U.S. and Africa; to educate, empower and equip them to care for and provide for their children.
